You must try Mahesh' restaurant, the fish is incredible and the location is amazing! I had crispy red snapper and it was the best fish I ever had. You can also use their sunbeds and small wave boards. Today the sea was choppy, but it's usually calmer and the beach is much bigger. 5⭐

Awesome family run restaurant right on the beach. We decided to spend the day here on the day beds, hire boogie boards, and get some lunch. Mahesh and his family were super friendly and the service was great, he even took the time to show us the seafood available in while we were deciding what to order. We ended up ordering the grilled jumbo prawns (or scampi) and grilled seer fish. Flavor was incredible, the seafood was as fresh as it comes, easily one of the best meals we’ve had since arriving. This place is a must visit!

Great food, excellent service and a beautiful ocean view. Ocean View Restaurant and Bar is a lovely spot to relax, with plenty of sunbeds, chilled background music and a great atmosphere. We visited as a family and had a brilliant time. The owner even gave us wave boards to use, which was a really nice touch and great fun for everyone.

This place on Goyambokka beach is brilliant in every way . We were staying at the palm paradise cabanas and used this beach and restaurant most days. The friendliness of the staff and service is fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable sunloungers to use. A delicious range of fresh shakes which our teenage children loved, cold beer and cocktails - a special mention to the pina colada,which was out of this world. Food was first rate, fresh fish caught daily, delicious prawns and sandwich / burgers as well as traditional Sri Lankan food . Well worth a visit.

Mahesh, his wife and their team are so welcoming and provide absolutely delicious food, great cocktails and juices. Myself and my family returned to their spot several times during our stay in Tangalle because the service and food was 10/10 amazing.

We only took a coke and tea, and we could use their bodyboards as long as we wanted, along with the beach chairs! Price is definitely OK for using their equipment. 400-500 Rs for basic drinks/coconut. The beach is amazing and we had a lot of fun in the waves. Smile was optional for the staff, maybe because we didn't order much.
